Gala 2025

Oliver Scholars 2025 Gala: Anchored in Excellence

On October 30th, our community came together at The Pierre Hotel to celebrate the 2025 Gala, honoring Champions of Excellence Dorothea Schlosser and Thomas Kopczynski, Alumni Awardees Dr. Benjeil Edghill, Barry Bhola, and Diana Caba, and the brilliant Class of 2025.

The evening featured our “Excellence Unleashed” fireside chat with Dr. Basil Smikle Jr. and Dr. Khalil Gibran Muhammad, laughter from comedian Wali Collins, live music from the Melodie Ray Band, and high-energy beats from DJ Wiz of Kid ’N Play. Guests also participated in spirited live and silent auctions, supporting our mission to prepare Scholars for top schools and beyond.
